If you want to learn new and exciting skills within the performing arts and within a fun and friendly atmosphere and in a safe environment then ‘Caroline’s School of Dance’ is the place for you.

Here at Caroline’s school of dance we are united as dance school; we work and get along fantastic as a team. We take great pleasure of the fact that all our children and students are friendly towards each other and are very welcoming to new children and students. We also have huge support from our parents. We are a team here and that’s how we like it.

We like to share this with our community by being involved in various local community based events around the Oldham area.

Our children and students like to share there passion and talents with you all by taking part in local displays, competitions, visits to local care homes. Annual shows which have been held at The George Lawton Hall Mosley and our up coming show at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester April 2013. We are also excited as we will be taking part and performing in the Oldham Carnival 2012.

Also we will be sharing some performances with the Saddleworth annual yearly show in 2012. We recently entered and took part in the central productions competition at the Oldham Coliseum. We are looking forward to trying auditions out for Got to Dance 2012.   We take part in professional examinations and are credited through the IDTA, where you can take part in exams and receive certificates and medals in all styles such as Ballet, Tap, and Modern, Street Dance, Freestyle and Cheer leading. Our tutors are registered with the UKCA Cheerleading association too and we look forward to taking our squads to competitions in 2013.

We have regular classes on a weekly basis where our children and students work extremely hard on there craft, we work on technique and performance and choreography. We take pride in our dancing as for many of our students they want to take it further for there carer either as a performer or a teacher. Some students however may just like to come dancing for a hobby and that too is always encouraged and welcomed as we want our children and students who come to Caroline’s school of dance to ultimately enjoy themselves whilst learning new skills.

Although we strive to be the best that we can be, we have lots of fun and look forward to showcasing our work, whether it be to an examiner, a judge or an audience or just for there parents at home. We encourage our children and students to take part in as much as possible to help them gain more confidence, technique, performance skills and experience.

Take a look at our gallery for pictures and archive newspaper clippings in the Oldham Chronicle and the Oldham advertiser from our past events and displays, and also feel free to have a look at some of our achievements through our performances.

We also have a brand new and exciting ‘Feature Page’. This will let you see some of our children and students hard at work in our classes whether it is in rehearsals or finished pieces. If you like what you see and you would like to try out a class or want some information or advise about what class if for you then please don’t hesitate to get in touch through our contact page…We look for ward to hearing from you. -  Miss Caroline
